San Antonio has been voted one of the most affordable and diverse cities to visit! Centrally located in the heart of Texas, San Antonio offers a blend of charm, vibrancy and color. Count on 300 days of sunshine a year and the average temperature in November is 71 degrees. Complete with theme parks, a River Walk, Sea World and extensive restaurants, San Antonio has something for everyone!

The River Walk recently completed a new 1.3 mile extension. The famous linear park goes from downtown all the way to the San Antonio Museum of Art. For a special treat, consider taking a river taxi up the new River Walk at night. Due to the many cultures that settled in the area, San Antonio has a vast assortment of restaurants and dining options. You’ll encounter some of the best Tex-Mex around. Cuisine options include American, Asian, BBQ, French, Greek, Indian, Italian, Tex-Mex, Seafood, Steakhouse and vegetarian.

San Antonio is a shopper’s paradise. With miles upon miles of local arts and crafts shops, outlet malls, galleries, unique gift shops and Mexican markets, it’s easy to find great gifts.

Other “don’t miss” sights: The Alamo (Texas’ #1 visitor attraction), the Spanish Missions National Historic Park, the San Antonio Museum of Art, Sea World San Antonio, La Villita (known as little village), Six Flags Fiesta Texas amusement park, the San Antonio Zoo and much more
