Target Audience
These meetings are designed for anesthesiologists and practitioners utilizing regional anesthesia in their practice of anesthesiology, for individuals involved in pain control, and for scientists working in these areas of basic and clinical sciences.

ASRA Mission Statement
The mission of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine is to associate physicians and scientists who are engaged in regional anesthesia for surgery, obstetrics and pain medicine; to encourage education and research in these areas for the benefits of physicians and the public; and to publish the highest quality scientific information on these subjects.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this educational offering, the participant should be able to have an appreciation and understanding of:
• Clinical issues relating to obstetric, surgical and pain management techniques utilizing regional anesthesia
• Be able to balance the risk/benefit of specific regional anesthesia techniques for anesthesia and pain control
• Incorporate the procedures presented into a practice

The methods of presentation will include didactic lectures, poster and poster discussions, workshops, problem based learning discussions and master classes. The Meeting will allow ample time to view new technology, inspect current literature, and review new and proven pharmacology.

Accreditation & Designation
The American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine designates this continuing medical education activity for a maximum of 22 credit hours in Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Refresher Courses/Workshops/Master Classes/Problem Based Learning and the 28th Annual Spring Meeting

For 2003, one registration fee covers the Annual Meeting, Refresher Courses, Breakout with the Experts and Poster Sessions. An additional fee will be charged for each Workshop, PBL, Intensive Workshop and Master Class. You must pre-register for the Workshops, PBLs, Intensive Workshops and Master Classes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. When making selections, it is recommended that you make several choices for each time period. Space will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please give us ALL your choices for EACH Workshop, PBL and Master Class. If all Workshops, PBLs and Master Classes in a given session are filled, you will receive a refund of your Workshop, PBL, Intensive Workshop or Master Class fee.

Your Annual Meeting Registration Fee Includes:

• Refresher Courses / Cracker Barrel Session / Parallel Sessions / Breakout with the Experts / Poster Discussions
• One reception, three continental breakfasts, coffee breaks
• Abstracts of posters and faculty lectures, meeting syllabus

Not Included in Your Annual Meeting Registration Fee:
• Workshops / PBLs / Master Classes / Intensive Workshops / Lunches (unless attending PBL Luncheon)
