Mastering the Lumbosacral Plexus and Lower Extremity Peripheral Blockade: A Comprehensive Approach to Anatomy & Clinical Applications

Objectives: Review the anatomy of the lower extremity including the lumbar and sacral plexus relevant for nerve blocks using computer simulation, anatomic models and live models. Describe approaches for each peripheral nerve block in the lower extremity including single injection and catheter techniques were indicated. Describe applications including indications and contraindications of these blocks for surgery and postoperative pain management. Review drugs, adjuncts and equipment and complications associated with the use of these techniques.

Mastering the Brachial Plexus: A Comprehensive Approach to Anatomy & Clinical Applications
Objectives: The goal of this workshop is detailed and complete coverage of the science and practical performance of brachial plexus blockade. The participant will become familiar with physiology and anatomy of this anesthetic technique, as wall as techniques, influences on success, and complications.
