Pain involving the sensory distribution of the pudendal nerve is referred to "pudendal neuralgia." It commonly presents as chronic debilitating pain in the penis, scrotum, labia, perineum or anorectal region.1 Compression of the pudendal nerve somewhere along its course is considered a major etiology of pudendal neuralgia2,3 and nerve block at the compression site helps with diagnosis and treatment.1
