Young Investigator Award Proposals Due

The Young Investigator Award will provide up to $30,000 to an MD or DO who is within 5 years of graduating from residency/fellowship to support an original idea or project that falls into any of ASRA’s research priorities and can be completed in two years. Applicants will be required to submit a letter of support from their chair guaranteeing sufficient funds, equipment, and time to complete the proposed project. They also must identify a senior researcher to serve as a mentor on the project. Applicants and co-investigators must be North American, physician members of ASRA. Grant proposals will be accepted until January 20, 2018. The first award will be given at the 2018 World Congress on Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
