Denis Patterson, DO, is a board-certified pain medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. He is the
founder and owner of Nevada Advanced Pain Specialists in Reno, NV. He was nominated as one of the top 25 physicians in Northern Nevada by Nevada Business Magazine in 2012 and 2013. In 2013, under the leadership of Dr. Patterson,
Northern Nevada Medical Center’s Pain Center became the first (and only) center in the nation to achieve Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for lower back pain. Recently, Dr. Patterson won the Northern Nevada 2021 Innovator of the Year award
by Nevada Business Magazine.
David Russo, DO, is a dual board-certified physical medicine, rehabilitation, and pain management specialist. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, followed by medical
school and graduate degrees in public health and clinical research and education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. He continued his graduate medical education and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation
(physiatry) at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, followed by a fellowship in pain management at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, OR. Dr. Russo is an expert in pain treatment and regenerative therapies for musculoskeletal conditions.
He is a medico-legal adviser and technical consultant in areas of risk management, peer review, clinical toxicology, and organizational development.
