4:15-5 pm: Gaston Labat Award Lecture
We are proud to present Alain Borgeat, MD, who has been selected to deliver the 2018 Gaston P. Labat Lecture. Dr. Borgeat is a senior clinical and research consultant at Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland, and a professor at the University of Zurich. The lecture is presented annually by an anesthesiologist who has fostered the art and science of regional anesthesia in the tradition of Gaston Labat.

Join the 2018 World Congress on Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine Scientific/Education Planning Committee Chair Vincent W.S. Chan, MD, FRCPC, as he officially opens this quadrennial meeting along with leaders from all five regional anesthesia and pain medicine societies.
