Fellowship directory

Physicians applying for a fellowship program in regional anesthesiology/acute pain medicine must be currently enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited anesthesiology residency program. Each individual program may have additional requirements such as medical licensing. The information published here has been supplied by the individual institutions. University of California at San Diego

Comprehensive curriculum incorporating advanced regional anesthesia techniques, such as continuous perineural infusion and ultrasound-guidance, multimodal acute pain management strategies, global health, and clinical/translational research.

Fellowship includes one day/week providing solo anesthesia or supervising residents/CRNAs in the operating room (augments salary). There is no in-house regional anesthesia call.

There is also readily available additional in-house attending OR and OB call to significantly augment salary.

$65,000 base salary (2017-2018); depending on how much attending OR/OB call is taken, yearly salaries range from $110,000 to >$200,000
