Tampa General Hospital

A comprehensive 12 month program focused on training our fellows in becoming experts in the practice of Acute Pain Medicine and Regional Anesthesiology.

The Acute Pain Service at Tampa General Hospital consists of Attendings, Advanced Practice Providers and Block Nurses. On a monthly basis, the service performs over 300 nerve blocks (continuous catheters (40%) + single shots (60%). Fellows should expect to perform 1000 plus blocks during their one year in training.

Providers at Tampa General Hospital consist of a mixture of private practice and university physician and specialty teams. The Acute Pain Service works closely with all surgical lines, medical specialties and primary care providers.
