Physicians applying for a fellowship program in regional anesthesiology/acute pain medicine must be currently enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited anesthesiology residency program. Each individual program may have additional requirements such as medical licensing. The information published here has been supplied by the individual institutions. Emory University Hospital*

The Department of Anesthesiology offers a one-year fellowship in regional anesthesia and acute pain management. The fellowship includes training in all aspects of regional anesthesia, including a wide variety of peripheral nerve blocks and neuraxial techniques on adult and pediatric patients. The fellow also gains a rich experience in acute pain management of inpatients. Participation in research is encouraged and supported. The program strives to prepare individuals for academic or specialized private practice careers.
