Brigham and Women's Hospital*

The Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is a 12-month ACGME-accredited fellowship program that provides advanced training in the fields of regional and orthopedic anesthesiology, pediatric regional anesthesia, acute pain medicine, and clinical research in these areas. Our program is affiliated with Harvard Medical School, and our fellows complete clinical rotations in regional anesthesia at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Faulkner Hospital.

The main objective of our fellowship program is to provide a nurturing atmosphere in which to acquire and grow knowledge and technical skills necessary to provide superb clinical care, develop educator skills and foster clinical innovation and prospective quality research. The fellowship curriculum is geared to provide deep and comprehensive knowledge of diverse regional and orthopedic anesthesia subjects, while remaining flexible to accommodate specific areas of interest and enhance the individual fellowship training experience.
