Are you transitioning from fellowship to independent pain practice?
There’s a resource designed specifically for this moment in your career.
The field of Pain Medicine is advancing rapidly, and staying current requires more than just excellent training—it requires continued growth, practical insight, and leadership development. While fellowship provides a strong foundation, the first years of independent practice often bring new challenges and learning opportunities.
To support this critical transition, ASRA Pain Medicine, in collaboration with the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Association of Pain Program Directors, has created the Pain Medicine Innovation and Leadership Certificate.
This comprehensive, one-year curriculum and certificate program is tailored for early-career pain specialists and includes:
- Live and on-demand educational sessions covering essential clinical topics and practice management strategies
- Practical, real-world insights to support daily decision-making
- Access to advanced interventional workshops at ASRA Pain Medicine events
Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, build confidence in your independent practice, or connect with expert-led training, this certificate program offers the support you need—when you need it most.
Join a community of emerging leaders in pain medicine and take the next step in your professional journey.
To complete the certificate program, registrants will be required to participate in 20 hours of CME activities:
- 12 CME credit hours will be comprised of asynchronous online learning activities
- An additional 4 CME credit hours will be focused on practice management content (may be live or asynchronous)
- 4 CME credit hours will consist of in-person procedural workshops (which maybe earned through attendance at the ASRA Pain Medicine Meeting or another preapproved activity; additional fees may apply).
(Completion of all materials not required for participation.)
